Yosemite Falls

We got to Yosemite on Wednesday (June 5) afternoon, and this is one of the first sights that we saw. Timing for our trip was perfect - after the Memorial Day rush and before school let out in California. The waterfalls were going full force because there was still snow in the upper mountains. On the first night, we stayed just outside the park in El Portal at the Yosemite View Lodge. For the next two nights, we stayed in the park's valley at Yosemite Lodge. By the way, the sky is not touched up in this picture - it was just that blue!
