| Our cabin was roomy enough, with a queen sized bed, a full bathroom, a sitting area, and a balcony. |
The dining area, La Fontaine, was the formal dining room. The presentation of the food was fantastic, but the actual quality of the preparation was not what I had hoped for. I had always heard how esquisite cruise ship food was, but to me, it tasted like hotel food. The menu was outstanding however - steak and lobster, duck, escargot, prime rib, etc. Towards the end of the cruise, we ate exclusively in the Lido Room, a cafeteria style restaurant. It had a wider selection, the food seemed to taste better, and I didn't have to dress up. |

| The only place we really felt cold while in Alaska was at Glacier Bay. We didn't get off the ship there - we just putted around on the ship looking at glaciers. |
